Excited Dogs

Training for excited and distracted dogs

In our private lessons, you and your dog will learn foundational skills to help your dog learn how to “do nothing,” one of the most valuable quality of life skills for a “busy” dog. They will also learn to associate distractions and excitement with choosing calmness and checking in with you. Combined with activities to meet their needs for stimulation and self regulation, you and your dog will learn to chill out and check back in.

When your dog is ready, you will be able to join us for semi-private lessons. In these sessions, excited dogs and their people will get to practice their skills in real-life situations with distractions from the environment as well as from other people and dogs. Your dog will learn how to keep their cool not just at home, but also out and about, on the go.
