Argot Animal Training first began offering services in Missouri in 2022. Our owner, Cade, had spent 9 years training dogs in a hobby and volunteer capacity in a variety of contexts, and decided it was time to start training professionally to expand their ability to help more dogs and their people. We relocated to Columbia, Mo and started offering services here and in the Mid-Missouri region in 2024.

We’re committed to offering only pet-friendly and human-friendly services that we’d be comfortable using for our own pets. If you’re looking for trainers who care about the people just as much as the dogs, you’re in the right place! We are ready to meet you where you are, without judgement, to guide you through the next step of your journey with your pets.

Dog Trainer | Founder

Hi, I’m Cade! I’m the owner & founder of Argot Animal Training. I have been helping others train their pets for over 3 years, and training my own for much longer.

I’m a bit of an animal behavior geek — I’m always trying to learn more, and improve my ability to help not only pets, but their owners, to live their ideal lives together. I spend a lot of time reading books on animal behavior, attending webinars, working with a wide a variety of pets and owners, and putting time into continuing education.

If you’d like a guide in your journey toward making your relationship with your dog more fun for both of you, please reach out! I’d be happy to help you find the right path. Sometimes you and your dog just need a little help speaking each other’s language.
